When you manually add a device with the Add New Hardware Wizard, you may notice that there are duplicate WDM Modem Enumerator entries in the Hardware Types box. The two entries are the same and there is no difference in functionality.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
