SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install Visual Studio Installer version 1.0 on a Windows Millennium Edition (Me)-based computer, you may receive the following error message:
Visual Studio Installer Setup was not completed successfully.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, download version 1.1 of Visual Studio Installer.
