SYMPTOMS

When you search Windows Millennium Edition (Me) Help for information about wizards that are included with Windows Me, Help may not return any results. For example, when you search for information about the following wizards, you may not receive any search results:
  • System Restore Wizard
  • Update Device Driver Wizard
  • Add Printer Wizard
  • Microsoft Registration Wizard

CAUSE

This problem can occur because wizard topics are not included in Windows Me Help, even though wizards are included in Windows Me Help.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, modify your search to exclude the word "wizard".

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
