SYMPTOMS

When you try to return over the bridge while you are using the bulldozer in Hasbro's Tonka Search & Rescue, the bulldozer does not move, and the pointer remains active on the bulldozer. In addition, you are not able to use any other object on the screen. This behavior may also occur with the fire truck.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you play this game on a computer that you have upgraded from Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition to Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition. This behavior also occurs if you play this game on a computer that has a clean installation of Windows Millennium Edition.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
