Hot Keys Do Not Work in System Information (MSInfo32) (266678)

SYMPTOMS

Nothing happens when you try to access the menu items within System Information (MSInfo32) by using the hot keys (CTRL+O, CTRL+P, CTRL+A, CTRL+F, CTRL+R, ALT+L, ALT+D, ALT+I, ALT+O, or ALT+P).

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:

  • In the left pane of MSInfo32, click System Summary, and then click CTRL+hot key or ALT+hot key, where hot key stands for the particular key, such O, P, or A and so on.
  • Press TAB multiple times to select System Summary, and then click CTRL+hot key or ALT+hot key.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition.
