SUMMARY

When you customize a report in Microsoft Money, the default report is no longer available in Money. This article describes how to save a customized report and then restore the original report for later use.

To save a customized report:
  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Reports, and then click Reports Gallery. (Click Reports for Money 2000 and earlier.)
  2. Click the report that you want to customize.
  3. Click Go to Report/Chart.
  4. Click Customize at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Make all of the changes that you want, including changing the title of the report in the Title box.
  6. Click OK.
  7. On the Favorites menu, click Add to Favorites.
  8. In the Report name box, type a name for the customized report, and then click OK.
To use this customized report at a later time:
  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Reports.
  2. In the left pane, click My Favorites.
  3. Double-click your report to open it.
To restore a customized report to its original format:
  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Reports, and then click Reports Gallery. (Click Reports for Money 2000 and earlier.)
  2. Select the customized report that you want to restore.
  3. Click Reset at the bottom of the screen, and then click Yes.
  4. Double-click the report to open it.
