Works: Only Half of Last Page of Word Document Is Printed (265929)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a Works Word Processor document to a Hewlett Packard (HP) LaserJet 4Si printer, only part of the last page of the document may be printed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you print a document that is two or more pages long and you are using the latest release of the printer driver supplied by Hewlett Packard for the Laser Jet 4Si.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use the default Microsoft Windows driver for the HP LaserJet 4Si printer.

To install a Windows printer driver, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
  2. Double-click Add Printer.
  3. Follow the instructions of the Add Printer Wizard to add the printer that you want.NOTE: To load a default printer driver, do not click Have Disk after you select the manufacturer and model of the printer.

    Click Next, and continue to follow the instructions on the screen.
