SYMPTOMS

After you modify the properties of a Microsoft Windows Movie Maker clip and close the Properties dialog box, the changes you made may not be saved.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you change the properties of a clip while you are importing a file into Windows Movie Maker.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, wait until the import procedure finishes, and then modify the properties of the clip.
