How to Convert Links 386 Courses to Links LS Courses (265335)

To convert Links 386 courses to Links LS courses:

1. Start the Links LS program.
2. On the Links LS menu, click Options.
3. Click Links 386 Courses.
4. Use the appropriate method to convert Links 386 courses to Links LS courses:

   Convert Links 386 Courses from CD-ROM

   1. Insert the Links 386 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
   2. Click Browse.
   3. Under Drives, click the CD-ROM drive that contains the Links 386 CD-ROM.
   4. Double-click the Course folder.
   5. Click the .crh file for the course that you want to convert, and then click OK.
   6. Click Convert.
   7. When you are prompted to insert a Links LS CD-ROM, do so, and then click OK.
   8. Click one of the following options:
      • Copy to Hard Drive
      • Leave on CD
      • Leave on CD, copy to hard drive when needed
      
      
   9. Click Install.
   10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for each course that you want to convert.
   11. Click Cancel when you are finished converting courses.
   12. Click Close.

   Convert Links 386 Courses from Floppy Disk

   1. Insert a Links 386 floppy disk into your floppy disk drive.
   2. Click Convert from Floppy.
   3. When the following message is displayed

      Insert floppy you want to convert from and then press OK

      click OK.
   4. Click Yes to install the course that you want to convert.
   5. When you are prompted to insert a Links LS CD-ROM, do so, and then click OK.
   6. Click one of the following options:
      • Copy to Hard Drive
      • Leave on CD
      • Leave on CD, copy to hard drive when needed
      
      
   7. Click Install.
   8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for each course that you want to convert.
   9. Click Cancel when you are finished converting courses.
   10. Click Close.

NOTE: You cannot convert any courses from Links 386 to work with Microsoft Links LS 2001.
