XWEB: OWA Users Cannot Create Private Contacts or Appointments (265091)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server

This article was previously published under Q265091

SUMMARY

When you use Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA), you are able to configure sensitivity for mail messages, but you are not able to do this for contacts or calendar items.

MORE INFORMATION

To specify the sensitivity of a contact or calendar item, use Microsoft Outlook. However, global sensitivity settings from Outlook do not affect OWA. Therefore, if you set the default sensitivity level to Private for all items from Outlook, and you create new contacts or calendar items in OWA, they still have normal sensitivity.
