PPT2000: Multiple Internet Explorer Windows When You Open ASF File from Saved Presentations (264048)

SYMPTOMS

When you record a presentation broadcast, and attempt to replay the broadcast by opening the ASF file that is created, a new instance of Microsoft Internet Explorer opens each slide in the broadcast.

CAUSE

The generated ASF file is not designed to be played in a stand-alone mode.

RESOLUTION

To correctly play back the presentation, return to the lobby page of the original broadcast. After the broadcast has gone past the ending time that you specified, the lobby page gains a new button named Replay Broadcast. Click this button to replay the broadcast from the created ASF file. If you do not see this button after the broadcast time has expired, try refreshing the lobby page in your Web browser.
