SYMPTOMS

Your Windows Pocket PC with Windows CE version 3.0 may start automatically at midnight.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur after you alter the time settings of our Windows Pocket PC with Windows CE 3.0 to facilitate the changing of the date on the device.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

To observe this behavior:
  1. Tap Start, tap Settings, and then tap the System tab.
  2. On the System tab, tap the clock, and then change the time to 15 minutes before midnight.
  3. Turn the device off. When the clock reaches midnight, the device turns on.
