TechNet Shortcuts Are Not Imported to the Start Bar (263895)

SUMMARY

When Microsoft TechNet is assigned by Active Directory, the program shortcuts are not imported to the user's Start Bar.

MORE INFORMATION

TechNet does not contain any advertiseable shortcuts. As a result, the program cannot pre-import (populate) the Start Bar with the icons necessary to perform Just In Time installation.

The program can still be installed by means of the Add/Remove Programs tool (in Control Panel) as long as the Do not display this package in the Add/Remove Control Panel check box is not selected.
