Works: Any Integer Value in a Time-Formatted Column Appears As 12:00 A.M. (263894)

When you format a Microsoft Works 2000 Spreadsheet column as Time, and you then type the time as an integer, every time entry may be converted to 12:00 A.M. in that column. For example, the integer 2 becomes 12:00 A.M.
If you are using the an elapsed time format option M:S or H:M:S, and you type the time as an integer, every time entry may be converted to 0:00, or 0:00:00.
CAUSE
Time entries must always be complete, even in columns that have been formatted as Time. Incomplete time entries can cause the behavior described in the "Symptoms" section.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, always complete a time entry. For example instead of typing 2, type 2:00 A.M. for time of day, or 2:00 for elapsed time.
