Microsoft FrontPage Express does not have an option to clear the recent file list on the File menu.

To work around this behavior, delete the Recent File List registry key by performing the following steps:
  1. Start Registry Editor.
  2. Delete the following registry key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\FrontPad\FrontPage Editor\Recent File List

NOTE: The Recent File List registry key is recreated when you open new files in FrontPage Express.
