OL98: How to Remove the Conversation Prefix in the By Conversation Topic View (263182)

To change or remove the Conversation prefix:

1. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click By Conversation Topic.
2. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
3. Click Fields, click Conversation in the Available fields box, and then click Add to place the Conversation field in the Show these fields in this order box.
4. Click OK, and then click OK.
5. Right-click anywhere in the column header row, such as the From, Subject, or Received field names, and then click Format Columns on the shortcut menu.
6. In the Available fields box, click Conversation.
7. If you want to rename the Conversation prefix to something else, such as "Topic" (without the quotation marks), change the Label field from Conversation to Topic, and then click OK.
8. If you want to remove the Conversation prefix, leave the Label field empty, and then click OK.

To remove the Conversation field from the header:

1. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
2. Click Fields, click Conversation in the Show these fields in this order box, and then click Remove.
