XADM: Full Exchange Admin Cannot Create a New Store on the Second Virtual Server in a Cluster (263060)

SYMPTOMS

A user with Full Exchange permissions to the Administrative Group may not be able to create or delete an information store under the second virtual server. The user can create a store under the first virtual server without a problem.

WORKAROUND

The account requires Administrator rights on the local computer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior is specific to cluster scenarios only. An Exchange Full Administrator does not require local Administrator rights in non-clustered environments.
