OL98: Error Message: "The Ordinal 508 Could Not Be Located in the Dynamic Link Library RASAPI32.DLL" (262534)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook, you may receive the following error message when you attempt to use the Remote Mail options:
The ordinal 508 could not be located in the dynamic link library RASAPI32.DLL.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, rename the Rnaph.dll file that is located in the Winnt\System32 folder. If this does not correct the behavior, search for all copies of the Rnaph.dll file on your computer, and then rename them.

MORE INFORMATION

The remote mail features do not require the Rnaph.dll file in order to function properly. This file is neither installed by nor used by Microsoft Outlook on the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Microsoft Windows 2000 operating systems.
