Unable to Log On Using Service for NetWare Directory Services (262349)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to log on to a Novell NetWare network with Client for NetWare and Service for NetWare Directory Services installed, you may receive the following error message:
You are not logged into the directory tree treename. The user name is not valid for this context and tree. You can try guest for default access.
This error message may be displayed even when you try to log on as Administrator.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your workstation default context setting under the Service for NetWare Directory Services properties is incorrect. For example, if your workstation default context setting is O=(organization), change it to the following setting:

Container.Organization.
