Monopoly Version 1.0 by Westwood Cannot Host an Internet Game with Internet Connection Sharing Installed (261864)

Monopoly version 1.0, by Westwood, does not properly host a game and let other players join that game over the Internet when Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is installed and enabled. This application experiences the same symptoms in Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition with ICS enabled.

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, disable ICS on the computer hosting the Monopoly game. To do so, follow these steps:
- Right-click the Microsoft Internet Explorer icon, and then click Properties.
- Click the Connection tab, and then click Sharing.
- Click to clear the Enable Internet Connection Sharing check box.
- Click OK, and then click OK again.
