SYMPTOMS

When using the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) to remotely administer a server, an administrative user may be unable to restart a project that has been stopped.

RESOLUTION

Restart the project locally, instead of remotely.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0.
