When you use FreePPP to start Internet Explorer 5, the browser may stop responding (hang), quit unexpectedly, or not display any Web pages.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, change your TCP/IP preferences so that you use Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), such as the Apple OT/PPP connection protocol, to start Internet Explorer.
