Page Saved as "Web Page Complete" Is Not Displayed Correctly (257146)

SYMPTOMS

When you save a Web page in Internet Explorer as "Web Page, Complete" and then try to view the saved Web page, the page may not be displayed correctly.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, use either of the following methods:
  • Open the saved Web page in Microsoft Word.
  • Save the Web page locally by clicking Add To Favorites on the Favorites menu, and then clicking to select the Make available offline check box.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
