When you view an animated GIF file using the preview option in Internet Explorer, the GIF is not displayed in the preview or on the printed page.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the GIF file has a blank image as its first frame.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
If the first frame of the GIF file is blank, the image that is captured and printed is the blank image.
