SYMPTOMS

When you visit a Web site that prompts you to download a component that is not installed on your computer, you may receive the following error message:
Component installation failed. You must be logged-on as an Administrator to complete this procedure.

CAUSE

You are not a member of the Administrators group or using the Administrator account for this computer.

RESOLUTION

Contact your system administrator for assistance in adding the required component or to verify that you are a member of the Administrators group.
