SYMPTOMS

When you click Stop while you are performing a search for people in an Online Directory by using the Find People tool, the search does not stop.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Although you cannot stop the search, you can permit the search to continue until the person is found or the directory service times out.

To use the Find People tool, you can click Start, point to Find, and then click People, or click Find People in the Windows Address Book.
