The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server

This article was previously published under Q255145

SUMMARY

When you upgrade a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) with a Connector for Lotus Notes on a Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system to Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, the Notes Connector folder (Exchsrvr/Connect/Exchconn) still remains after the upgrade is finished; moreover, it still contains all of its files.

MORE INFORMATION

Even though the Notes Connector files are no longer in use, the folder and its contents are not removed; this behavior is designed so that after the upgrade, users can refer to the configuration information contained in the folder and retain any customized files that they created.
