Visio2000: Files May Open Slowly If the "Record Actions in Microsoft Outlook Journal" Option Is Selected (255001)

Visio files may open slowly if the Record actions in Microsoft Outlook Journal option is selected.
RESOLUTION
This issue usually occurs because Microsoft Outlook is misconfigured. To resolve this issue, check with your system administrator to make sure that Outlook is configured properly and that the Exchange Server is up to date. If your Visio files still open slowly, disable automatic recording of journal entries in Visio.
To disable automatic recording of journal entries:
- Open Visio 2000.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click to clear the Record Actions in Microsoft Outlook Journal check box.
- Click OK.
