Microsoft does not provide technical support for InstallShield5 Free Edition and InstallShield for Microsoft Visual C++ 6. These products are included with the Professional and Enterprise Editions of the following products:

  • Visual C++ 5.0
  • Visual C++ 6.0
InstallShield5 Free Edition and InstallShield for Microsoft Visual C++ 6 are supported by InstallShield (http://www.installshield.com). For more information, see the Readme.htm or Readme.txt files located in the Ishield folder of the Visual C++ CD-ROM.

Install the InstallShield for Visual C++, click Getting Started under the Help menu. Under topic Welcome to InstallShield there is a Tutorial for InstallShield.
