OL2000: Can Not Mix Users and Distribution Lists In a Net Folder Invitation (253415)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Outlook using Microsoft Windows Terminal Server Edition and share a personal folder file (.pst), you are unable to add a distribution list and a user to the Internet folder invitation at the same time.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, add the users and distribution lists separately:
  1. On the File menu, point to Share, and then click This Folder. Click Add.
  2. Choose one or more distribution lists, and click OK.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Choose one or more users, and click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
