When you use DIRECT through proxy automatic configuration to connect to the Internet, you may not be able to display .htm files that are on a Gopher site, and you may receive the following error message:
This page cannot be displayed
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, browse to an HTTP location and then try the Gopher site. You might also be able to use DIRECT through a manual proxy.
