Back Button in Wizard Does Not Save Custom Components and the Installation Options Return to the Default (250695)

SYMPTOMS

When you add custom components and change titles while you are building a custom package with the Microsoft Internet Explorer Customization Wizard, if you click Back to return to the Media Selection dialog box and then click Next to return to the Installation Options dialog box in which you previously chose the Minimal installation option, the settings return to the default minimal installation options instead of the custom settings you chose.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, modify the standard installation package, or create a new installation package.
