SYMPTOMS

In BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) version 4.5, the User Account Wizard (Addusrw.exe) may generate an "Access violation" error message when more than 5,000 custom recipients exist in the version of Microsoft Exchange Server that is included with SBS 4.5.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Add User Wizard operates under the assumption that the number of recipients in SBS will be less than 5,000.
