User Profile Modified Date Displayed Incorrectly in System Properties (249854)

SYMPTOMS

The Modified date that is displayed on the User Profile tab in the System tool in Control Panel may appear to be incorrect.

For example, if you log off at 1:00 A.M. and log on again, you may find that the modified date for your profile is still displayed at yesterday.

CAUSE

Windows NT and Windows 2000 display date information in this particular dialog box by using Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), regardless of the system time zone setting.

RESOLUTION

This behavior is not a problem in either Windows NT or Windows 2000.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
