SUMMARY

Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2) is a free update to Office 97.

SR-2 contains a series of fixes for each program in Office 97.

NOTE: The Microsoft Office 97 SR-2 Patch requires that you first install SR-1.

Office 97 Service Release 2b is available for download from the countries/regions listed below. Please note that because of fulfillment variances outside of North America, CD versions of SR-2b may not be free as they are in the U.S. and Canada.
