MOD2000: You Must Have SQLServerAgent Running to Create and Deploy a Publication (247695)

If the SQLServerAgent service that is used by Microsoft Access Workflow Designer is not running on the Access Workflow Designer server, you may experience one or more of the following conditions: - Offline publications cannot be created or are created slowly.
- Offline publications cannot be re-created or are re-created slowly.
- Solution deployment is slower.
CAUSE
The SQLSeverAgent service is used to create and re-create offline publications as well as deploy solutions. Without this service, these tasks cannot take place.
RESOLUTION
Ensure that the SQLServerAgent service is started before you deploy a solution, create an offline publication, or re-create an offline publication.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
