SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to configure a Media Vision Spectrum ProAudio 16 sound card on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, you find that Device Manager does not recognize the sound card.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Windows 2000 does not support the Media Vision Spectrum ProAudio 16 sound card.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
