This article was previously published under Q246015
BUG #: 4413 (plato7x)

When a Data Transformation Services package containing one or more OLAP processing tasks is saved to the Microsoft SQL Server Repository, the details for the OLAP task are not properly saved. The package executes fine when initially designed and runs in the DTS designer. However, after the package is saved and DTS designer closed, the following error message is displayed if the package is executed from Enterprise Manager console or re-opened and executed in the DTS designer screen:
Package Error
OLAP Services Processing Task
Invalid processing option

WORKAROUND

All DTS packages that utilize the add in task for processing OLAP objects should be saved to a file or SQL Server.
