Clusdisk.sys may corrupt pool memory if you are running Microsoft Cluster Server with special pool overrun protection enabled for all tags. When this happens you may receive a "Stop 0x00000050" error message on boot.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when Clusdisk.sys attempts to write past its allocation memory.
RESOLUTIONA supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. To resolve this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the fix.
