"My Documents" Folder Does Not Expand from Desktop Toolbar (243710)

SYMPTOMS

If you create a desktop toolbar that contains the My Documents folder, the menu that appears when you click ">>" may not contain an expandable view of the My Documents folder.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, open the My Documents folder on the desktop or from the Start menu.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
