SUMMARY

Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) adds a few new attributes to help the Active Directory Connector (ADC) link Windows 2000 Active Directory objects to Exchange Server 5.5 objects. If the Exchange Server 5.5 computer has Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed, the first time you connect an Exchange Server 5.5 computer to Active Directory, the ADC automatically updates the Exchange Server 5.5 schema. Four new attributes are added:
  • Object-Guid
  • Replication-Signature
  • Unmerged-Attributes
  • ADC-Global-Names
The LDAP name of the Tagged-X509-Cert attribute was renamed to userSMIMECertificate to conform to standards.
