SYMPTOMS

When you start Deluxe CD Player, you may receive the following error message:
An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway, click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click Close. You will lose information you entered since your last Save.
After you click Close, the following error message is displayed:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, please contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, the following information is displayed:
DELUXECD caused a general protection fault in module MCICDA.DRV.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if IMSI's CD Copier is installed on your computer. There may be an issue with the Vcdrom.pdr file in the Windows/System/Iosubsys folder.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, uninstall the CD Copier program.
