Works 2000: Blank Page Is Printed After the Fax Cover Sheet (239402)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Faxes template in the Microsoft Works 2000 Word Processor to create a fax cover sheet, you may experience the following symptoms:

When you print the fax cover sheet, a blank page is printed after the fax cover sheet.
When you view the fax cover sheet in the Print Preview window, a blank page is displayed after the fax cover sheet.

This behavior can occur if you select the Urgent Cover Sheet in the Works Faxes Wizard.

To work around this issue:

Start the Works 2000 Word Processor, and then open the fax cover sheet.
On the File menu, click Print.
Under Print range, click Pages.
In the to box, type the page number of the second-last page in the fax cover sheet.
Click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works 2000.
