Works 2000: Database Template Does Not Appear in Works Task Launcher (239365)

SYMPTOMS

When you save a Microsoft Works 2000 Database template, the template does not appear on the Programs tab of the Works 2000 Task Launcher.

NOTE: The template does appear in the list of Personal Templates on the Tasks tab of the Works 2000 Task Launcher.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click any other program, such as Address Book or Works Calendar, that is listed on the Programs tab of the Works Task Launcher, and then click Works Database.

The new template now appears on the Programs tab of the Works Task Launcher.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
