Works 2000: Text Is Missing from the Document Header or Footer (239333)

When you open an Rich Text Format (RTF) file in the Microsoft Works 2000
Word Processor, text may be missing from the header or the footer of the
document.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because there is a limit to the amount of text
that the Works 2000 Word Processor can display in the header or footer of
a document. This limit depends on the following factors:
- Font
- Font size
- Font style
- Paragraph formatting
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, change the paragraph formatting or the font
characteristics of the text in the header or the footer of the document:
- Start the Works 2000 Word Processor.
- On the File menu, click Open.
- Click Rich Text Format (*.rtf) in
the Files of type box.
- Click the document that you want to open, and then
click Open.
- On the View menu, click Header and
Footer.
- Select the text in the header or footer, and then click
the appropriate commands on the Format menu to change
the paragraph formatting or the font characteristics of the
selected text.
