Works Suite 2000: Word Document or Template Does Not Appear in Works Task Launcher (239301)

When you use Microsoft Word 2000 in Microsoft Works Suite 2000, you may
experience either of the following symptoms:
- When you save a Word 2000 document, the document does not appear
on the History tab of the Works 2000 Task Launcher.
- When you save a Word 2000 template, the template does not appear
in the list of Personal Templates on the Tasks tab of the
Works 2000 Task Launcher.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because Word 2000 does not report the action of
saving a document or a template to the Works Task Launcher until you quit
Word or start a second instance of Word.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, quit Word 2000 (or start a second instance of
Word 2000), and then start or switch to the Works Task Launcher.
The saved Word 2000 document or template now appears on the appropriate
tab of the Works Task Launcher.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works Suite 2000.
