The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works 2000
- Microsoft Works 6
- Microsoft Works Suite 2001
This article was previously published under Q239268 SYMPTOMS
When you resize the picture frame for a Paint object in Microsoft Works, the picture frame may return to its original size.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you move your pointer outside the border of the
picture frame.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, resize the painting in addition to the picture
frame:
- Start Works 2000 Word Processor.
- Open or create a document into which you want to insert
a painting.
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then
click New Painting.
A picture frame that contains a blank painting opens on the
screen. The small squares on the corners and the sides of the
picture frame are sizing handles. - Drag the appropriate sizing handle to resize the picture
frame to the size that you want. Make sure that your pointer
remains within the border of the picture frame.
- Drag the appropriate sizing handle on the painting to resize
it to fill the picture frame.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
