Works 2000: Cannot Activate Clip Gallery Object After You Postpone Indexing (239215)

SYMPTOMS

When you double-click a Microsoft Clip Gallery object in a Microsoft Works 2000 document, you may receive the following error message:

Filename caused an invalid page fault in module unknown.

When you click Close, Works may continue to function, but you may not be able to activate the Clip Gallery object again.

This issue can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

You upgraded from an earlier version of ClipArt Gallery to ClipArt Gallery version 5.0.
You attempt to postpone the Clip Gallery indexing for a second time.

To prevent this issue from occurring, do not postpone Clip Gallery indexing.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Works 2000.
