Works 2000: Header and Footer Borders Appear Solid Instead of Dashed (239181)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Header and Footer on the View menu, the header and footer borders may appear to be solid lines instead of the expected dashed lines.

NOTE: Header and footer borders are used for document reference only, and are not printed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your computer is using the Matrox MGA Millennium video card.

RESOLUTION

The newest video drivers are known to resolve this issue.

Contact the manufacturer of your video card for information about obtaining and installing a new driver for the video card.
