To assign your e-mail program to the Mail Hot Key, follow these steps.

IntelliType version 1.0, 1.1 and1.2

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Keyboard.
  3. On the Hot Keys tab, under Select a Hot Key, click Mail.
  4. Under Select a Mail Program, click Mail, and then click your e-mail program in the Mail box.
  5. Click OK, and then close Control Panel.

IntelliType version 2.0 or a later version

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Keyboard.
  3. On the Key Settings tab, select Mail from the list, and then click Edit.
  4. In the Start section, select your e-mail program from the drop-down menu, and then click Finish.
  5. If it is not in the drop down list select Start a Program, then click Next.
  6. Click Browse, and then locate the executable file of your e-mail program. An example for Microsoft Outlook:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe

  7. Click Finish.
